The Royal Shakespeare Company plays to packed audiences just up the road at Stratford upon Avon Whilst not as famous, Chipping Norton has a lovely little theatre just down the road. The University of Warwick has a fabulous venue Warwick Arts Centre - offering live performances of top class theatre, classical and contemporary music and comedy acts.

The dreaming spires of Oxford lie half an hour to the South and are well worth a visit. For an art fix, Compton Verney has a wonderful art collection housed in a Grade 1 listed Robert Adams house set in 120 acres of gardens landscaped by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown and is just 15 minutes away. Upton House, a National Trust property, is 10 minutes up the road.

Broughton Castle , home to Lord & Lady Saye & Sele, is a beautiful moated castle open to the public and lies a mere 5 minutes down the road. Travel north for 30 minutes and you will reach the historic town of Warick with its famous castle . Head west to the Cotswolds to the Rollright Stones , or across to Woodstock for Blenheim Palace.

Jeremy Clarkson lives in the area and whilst his address is as much a mystery to us as the identity of the Stig …. we can point you in the direction of the Heritage Motor Centre for a complete timeline of the British Car, 15 minutes up the road at Gaydon. A little further afield, Silverstone can be found in neighbouring Northamptonshire.
